High school is daunting, and scary and wild.

My son will be fine, I know that he will.

But as parents the nerves don’t stop just because his place is now filed.

Will it be the right one, will he make friends, grow, and learn to sit still.

The thing is I guess we won’t know until it’s here.

Until then it’s prepare, and enjoy our little boy.

And then we’ll protect him and deal with the fear.

And remember our little boy as he puts down his last toy.
